Mrs. Leona I. Towne age 92, died May 16, 2015. She was born in LeRoy, Michigan on January 22, 1923 to Clarence and Nellie (St. Mary) Baumunk and lived in the Muskegon Fruitport area since 1946. She married Orville (Lloyd) Towne May 1st, 1943 and he preceded her in death on December, 19, 2002. She was a longtime member of Fruitport Congregational UCC. SURVIVORS Son, Kimball (Vicki) Towne of Nunica; daughters, Karen (Darien) Cummins of Fruitport, Nancy (Fred) Schoerner of Fremont, Marlene (Mike) Earnest of Muskegon, Pamela (Nick) DeVille of Fruitport; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents & husband. SERVICE Tuesday, May 19, 2015, 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior at Fruitport Congregational UCC with Rev. Don Wood officiating.
