HEADLEE, MRS. LEONA HOULE Omaha, NE formerly of Muskegon, MI Mrs. Leona Houle Headlee, age 89, died Wednesday, January 16, 2002. She was born in Mancelona, MI on April 30, 1912 to Ernest & Nellie Bulson Petersen & married Bernard Joseph Houle on December 1, 1934 in Muskegon. Mrs. Headlee was a graduate of Muskegon Community College & Western Michigan University & had been employed as a school teacher at Glenside Elementary School until retiring. She enjoyed helping & visiting the senior citizens in Hemet, CA. SURVIVORS 2 sons, Bernard Charlene Houle of Omaha, NE & Dan Darleen Houle of Spring Lake, MI; 7 grand- children; 10 great grandchildren & 1 sister, Ethel Girdler of AL. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bernard Houle; a daughter, Carol Ann Whitehill; her second husband, Earl Headlee & by a brother, Edwin Petersen. SERVICE Tuesday, January 22, 2002, 11:00 AM at St. Francis deSales Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas J. Brown officiating. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery.
