REISS, MR. LEO West Olive, MI Mr. Leo Reiss, age 87, died Monday, October 28, 2002 at home. He was born in Chicago, IL on February 10, 1915 to Leo & Katherine Reiss & married the former Dolores Widder on April 11, 1945 in Chicago, IL. Mr. Reiss had been employed as a tool & die maker at Gardner Denver for 46 1/2 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post, a life member of the Grand Haven Eagles- Charles Conklin Post & enjoyed tinkering with his cars, gardening, bowling & golf. Survivors: Wife, Dolores; son, Larry Ellen Reiss of Grand Haven, MI; daughter, Dee Dee Steve Batka of West Olive, MI; 3 grandsons, Shannon Jennifer Batka, Christopher Batka & Eric Kimberly Batka, all of West Olive, MI; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Boeve of Holland, MI; 2 brothers; Joe Susie Reiss & George Evelyn Reiss, both of Grand Haven, MI.
