Mr. Leo Harold Lennon, age 90, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at VNS - Hospice House. He was born September 8, 1916 in Gladwin, MI to Mathew and Mary Edna (Breault) Lennon and lived in the Muskegon area most of his life. He was a veteran of the US Army having served during WWII. On May 16, 1953, he married the former Anne M. Krusinsky and she preceded him in death on July 13, 1997. Prior to retirement in 1976, he was employed as a machinist at Teledyne-Continental Motors for 39 years. He was active at the Moose Lodge for many years. He was also a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Mr. Lennon was a kind-hearted man, always putting others' needs before his own. His family was top priority in his life as he was always doing things and providing for them. He will be greatly missed by his 3 children, Shelly (George) Segall of Atherton, CA, LeAnn (Paul) Grissom of Roosevelt Park, Nick (Denise) Lennon of Norton Shores; his 4 grandchildren, Lindsey (David) Lassanske, Kyle Grissom, Kendra and Kory Lennon; his brother, Jack (Tina) Lennon of Gladwin, MI; his 2 sisters, Rosilee Wagar of Midland, MI, Dorothy (Devere) Wagar of Gladwin, MI; his sister-in-law, Dona (Jack) Robinson of Spring Lake; and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by 5 brothers, Steve, Clare, Tom, Alfred, Dee, and Francis; 2 sisters: Alice and Cassie. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 11:00 AM Saturday, December 2, 2006 in Marian Chapel of St. Francis deSales Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Julian Reginato as celebrant. ENTOMBMENT will take place at St. Mary's Mausoleum. VISITATION with Mr. Lennon's family will be 5-8 PM Friday at The Walburn Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. (231) 759-8565 The Rosary will begin at 5:15 PM Friday evening.
