Lena A. Johnson

Mrs. Lena A. Johnson, age 68, of North Muskegon, passed away after an extended illness on Tuesday morning March 4, 2008 at Hackley Visiting Nurse Hospice. Lena was born April 7, 1939 in Shelby, MI to Albert and Bertha (Rash) Long and married Mr. Brian H. Johnson on January 4, 1969. She was predeceased by her parents; two brothers, Jack Long and Donald Long; and nephew, Dave Bigsby. Lena leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 39 years, Brian; two sons: Michael Johnson and Clarence Johnson; and two grandchildren, Michael Johnson and Britney Johnson, all of Fruitland Township. In addition, she leaves two brothers and a sister: Harold Long of Pentwater, Clarence (Bonnie) Long of Lakewood Club, and Della (Duane) Bigsby of Pentwater. Funeral Services for Lena will be Thursday, March 6th at 2:00 p.m. at Ever Rest Funeral Home & Chapel, 1783 E. Keating Ave. with Pastor Lowell Wood officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 5th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Interment in East Fruitland Township Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Hackley Visiting Nurse Services & Hospice.
