Leanna Faye Woods

Leanna Faye Woods, age 37, died November 18, 2022 in Muskegon Michigan at the Harbor Hospice Poppen House. She was born on January 21, 1985 at Mercy Hospital in Muskegon, MI to Floyd Woods and Deborah Cook. Leanna was raised in Muskegon and attended middle school at Tri-Valley where she was the Salutatorian of her class. She then went on to Mona Shores High School. While there she was active in theater and a member of the Singing Christmas Tree for three years. Leanna graduated in 2003 with a 3.2 GPA and then went on to Muskegon Community College to study business. During these years she worked at various different companies including ADAC, Sam's Club, G&L Chili Dogs and was the Childcare coordinator at the Omni Fitness Club. Leanna was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and one of the lead singers in the Choir. She had a big voice and did not need a microphone. At time she was teased about her booming voice when she was supposed to be singing background. Leanna had a big heart and would do anything for all her friends, family and even strangers. After graduating she moved Portland Oregon. While there she attended college for a while, studying business. She worked at Starbucks, a veterinary hospital and then was the internet sales manager at a Kia and Nissan dealership. Leanna eventually returned to Muskegon where she took a position as the internet Sales manager for Betten Baker. Leanna is survived by her Mother, Deborah Cook; Father, Floyd Woods; sisters, Abrah M. Woods;, Tracy Woods; Brothers, Tyree Woods, Jason Cunningham, Jeremy (Sara) Konester; favorite nieces Alana favorite nephew, Pruitt Woods and her very special love and friend, Terry Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her Grandma & Grandpa Cook and her Grandma & Grandpa Earlie Mae Woods, Nathaniel Woods and Levell Woods Service Friendship Baptist Church 2428 Ray Street Muskegon Heights, MI, United States 49444 1:00 PM
