Lawrence J. Ritter RITTER, MR. LAWRENCE J. Muskegon Mr. Lawrence J. Ritter, age 91, died Sunday, May 14, 2006. He was born in Muskegon, MI on September 21, 1914 to Irving & Karen Marie (Paulsen) Ritter and married Marjorie M. Johnson on May 29, 1941 in Muskegon. Mr. Ritter had been employed as a tool designer at Shawbox Crane, retiring in 1977. He was a great grandson of Minerva Dill. He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, the Civilian Conservation Corps, the Danish Brotherhood, the Happy Wanderers Trailer Club, Muskegon Movie Club & the Camera Club. He enjoyed woodcarving, riding his bike and sailing. SURVIVORS Wife, Marjorie M. Ritter; 1 son, Mark (Barbara) Ritter of Tequesta, FL; 2 daughters, Karen (Thomas) Chadwick, Lori (Paul) Sietsema, both of Muskegon; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; many nieces & nephews; several cousins. He was preceded in death by 1 brother, 1 sister and 1 great-grandson. SERVICE Thursday, May 18, 2006, 11:00 AM, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church with Rev. Karen M. Biggerstaff officiating.
