Larry, surrounded by his loving family, went to be with the Lord on May 17, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Idella (Harkins) Bozik. Larry was born 10/31/1941 in Grand Traverse County. He attended Beach and Sacred Heart schools in

Muskegon, and graduated from Muskegon Catholic Central in the class of 1960. Larry studied at Ferris State University and served as a Sergeant in the Army, stationed in Korea on the DMZ as a Communication Specialist from 1966 to 1968. He was employed for 30 years as Production Control Manager at Sealed Power/SPX. Larry was a proud veteran, a Notre Dame fan and he enjoyed his dogs and horses. Larry had a 10 acre

home on Sternberg Road named "The Poor Farm" where he raised and trained horses, one of which was an Arabian named Flarali, who was the Reserved Grand Champion of Michigan. Larry enjoyed golfing with his friends and especially with his family. He played golf every Sunday with his Dad and brothers for 42 years. Larry played football and ran track for Muskegon Catholic Central. One of his proudest moments and favorite stories was MCC beating Muskegon Heights High School in football.

SURVIVORS

Larry is survived by brother Paul Bozik and his wife Chris and their four children and spouses, and thirtygreat nieces and great nephews. Sister Pat Bozik Vendal and her husband Jim and their three childrenand spouses and eight great nieces and one great nephew. Sister Deb Bozik Bringedahl and Don Cantu and Deb's son and spouse and two great nephews. Brother Steve Bozik and his wife Brenda and their four children and spouses and six great nieces and great nephews, and long-time friend Jackie Houseman.

SERVICES

The Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Larry's life will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, located at 150 E. Summit Avenue, Muskegon Hts., MI 49444 at 11 am on Monday, 6/5/2023. Visitation will precede the funeral at 10 am on 6/5/2023 at Sacred Heart. Memorial Contributions can be made to Muskegon County Right to Life. Larry's favorite song was Holy Mother, and he said he listened to it every day. Larry will be greatly missed. Rest in peace dear Larry.
