Lavina Ruth Sparrow

Sparrow, Mrs. Lavina Ruth Muskegon Mrs. Lavina Ruth Sparrow, age 94, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020. She was born in New Era, MI on July 7, 1926 to Gerrit & Hattie (Keemstra) TenBrink and first married Mervin Furman who preceded her in death in 1962 & later, married Max Sparrow who also preceded her in death in 2007. Mrs. Sparrow worked at the phone company in her younger years and later worked as a secretary for Dr. Johnson, Church of the Open Door and then Calvary Bible Church. Lavina was a member of Unity Reformed Church and enjoyed sewing & crocheting. SURVIVORS Children, Jan (Ed) Buitendorp, Jim (Darlene) Sparrow, Lenora Schneider, Debbie (Brian) Kaub, Ed (Janice) Furman; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sister, Gladys Lambrix. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Mervin Furman in 1962 & Max Sparrow in 2007. SERVICE Due to Covid-19, private family services will be held.
