MITCHELL, JR., MR. LAURENCE ''LARRY'' Grand Haven, MI Mr. Laurence ''Larry'' Mitchell, Jr., age 72, died Tuesday, February 18, 2003. He was born on May 2, 1930 to Laurence & Irene Storment Mitchell, Sr. in Elmhurst, IL & married the former Rose Puleo on September 4, 1954. Mr. Mitchell served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict & had been a tool & die maker for over 25 years. He retired from Autodie in Grand Rapids, MI in 1994. He was a member of CCO- Converted Coach Owners & FMCA- Family Motor Coach Assoc. Mr. Mitchell was also a pilot & kept a plane at the Grand Haven Airport. Survivors: Wife, Rose; 4 daughters, Mary Jo Cameron Yoas of Phoenix, AZ, Susan Douglas Campbell, Linda Mike Gallagher Mitchell & Laura Brad Tripp, all of Grand Haven, MI; 8 grandchildren, Jason, Matthew Andrea, Andrew, Ashley, Amy Shane, Brandon, Jordon 4 great-grandchildren, Ashlynne, Skyler, River sister, Beverly Salisbury of Spring Lake, MI; special niece & caretaker, Juanita Fraizer. Mr. Mitchell was preceded in death by his parents & by a sister, Juanita Wells. Memorial Service: Friday, February 21, 2003, 1:00 PM at Clock Funeral Home with Pastor P.J. Calkins officiating.
