Laurel "Larry" J. Lebaron

Mrs. Laurel "Larry" J. LeBaron, age 76, died Friday, December 28, 2007 in Petoskey, MI. She was born on July 12, 1931 in Cheboygan, MI to Earl and Bernice (Basset) Ferguson, and had resided in the area since 1952. Mrs. LeBaron was considered a "mother to many." On January 26, 1950, she married William "Bill" LeBaron and he survives her along with 6 children, Richard Ferguson, Barbara (Ronnie) Barnes, Sharon Slater, William (Ruth) LeBaron, Jr., Edward LeBaron, Jerry LeBaron all of the Muskegon area; 31 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter; 4 sisters, Marie Ross, Arlone Passeno, Florence "Fid" Burrell, and Gloria Ferguson. Mr. LeBaron was preceded in death by her parents; son, Marvin "Bud" LeBaron in 1980; and 2 brothers, Phillip and Don Ferguson. SERVICES will be 2 PM Wednesday at The Sytsema Chapel Sytsema Funeral Home, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 with Pastor Taylor Overbey officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 1-2 PM. Burial will take in Egelston Twp. Cemetery.
