Laura Garvey

Ms. Laura Kay Garvey, age 58, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on May 1, 1958 to Fredrick & Kathleen (Bolema) Garvey. Ms. Garvey had been employed as a teacher for Orchard View Public Schools for over 20 years. Laura loved children, arts & crafts, baking (especially cookies), music and time with her family. SURVIVORS Daughter, Heather (Scott) Ruffin; sons, Derek (Misty) Kieft & Steven Kieft; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother, John (Nancy) Garvey; many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends; best friend Kathy Pacyga; her dog Rosie. She was preceded in death by her parents & brother, Fred Garvey. SERVICE Monday, August 15, 2016, 2:00 pm with visitation one hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Pastor Paul Urban & Pastor Matt Lewis officiating. MEMORIAL: To the Family.
