Laura Ann Burgener

Mrs. Laura Ann (Kurtz)Burgener, age 54, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI on April 14, 1969, to Edward & Elizabeth Kurtz and married Chris Burgener in 1995. Laura worked as a Restaurant Manager, Rural Mail Carrier and In Home Health Care provider for most of her working life and carried that over as a mother, grandmother, mentor, and friend. She was a longtime member of the Eat GR food group, and enjoyed spending her time cooking, camping, travelling, and helping raise her grandchild. She was very fond of her Coopersville Class of '87 family.

Children, Tristan Burgener, Nicolette Burgener; Granddaughter, Saylor; Siblings, Kathleen (Tom) Smith, Noreen Kurtz, Edward (Sue) Kurtz, Robert Kurtz, Michael (Holly) Kurtz, Frank (Angie) Kurtz, Janet (Roland) DeVries; Aunt/ Uncles, John (Anita) Spinner, Mary Lou (Alvin) Terpstra; She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward & Elizabeth Kurtz and Aunt Louella Bing.

SERVICE

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held on Sunday September 10th at 3pm, Location: Venroys Blueberries located at 14564 84th Ave. Coopersville MI
