LaShonda Annette "TeeDee" Burks, age 54, passed away Friday, January 17, 2025. She was born in Muskegon, MI on March 28, 1970 to Glinnie & Sarah (Johnson) Burks and Johnny Vines Jr. and graduated from Muskegon Heights High School in 1988. In her early years she worked various different jobs but mostly she was a stay at home mother to her children. TeeDee loved to sing and performed every chance she got. She was a great cook, well known for her soul food dishes. She liked going on trips with her family to visit relatives around the country. But most of all she loved spending time with her family and especially her grand-daughter.

(Ret) Glennie (Tiffany) Burks of Texas, Antonio Burks, Kathleen Burks, Bobbie-Nell Burks, Climmie (Bobby) Fountain, Marcus (Anita) Burks, Demorrieo Burks, Glinnette Burks, Sheneta Moore, Kevin (Nora) Vines, Vincent Vines, Keila (Mark) Vines-Duncan, Johnnique Vines Harris, Aaron Ollie, Shun Burton; Best Friends, Mary Carter, Sherri Briggs, Pamela Smith; special aunt, Dorisene Vines-Jackson; Favorite Uncle Thomas (Phyllis) Johnson; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles: her furry friend Bella. LaShonda was preceded in death by her parents, Glinnie & Sarah Burks and Johnny Vines Jr., sisters, DeQuita Burks, Essie-Bell Burks, Jessie-Mae Long

SERVICE

Tuesday, January 28, 2025, 12:00 Noon at Clock Funeral Home with Rev. Yvonne Crawford officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
