Larry Gendron Sr.

Mr. Larry John Gendron Sr., age 69, died Friday, November 6, 2009. He was born in Detroit, MI on August 5, 1940 to Charles & Martha (Torongeau) Gendron & married the former Gayle Haukom on October 28, 1972 in Grand Haven, MI. Mr. Gendron served his country in the U.S. Army, Navy & Marines during Vietnam. He had been employed as a laborer at Eagle Ottawa Leather Company & various shops around Grand Haven. Mr. Gendron enjoyed fishing & drawing. SURVIVORS 4 sons, Michael (Kimberly) Haukom of Grand Haven, Larry Jr. (Mariea) Gendron of Muskegon, Tom (Heather) Gendron of Grand Haven & James (Tracy) Gendron of Escanaba, MI; 1 daughter, Amanda Crowell of Spring Lake; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Judy (Mitch) Babcock of Whitehall, MI & 1 Aunt, Yvonne. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gayle. SERVICE Wednesday, November 11, 2009, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel-Grand Haven. VISITATION Wednesday, 1 hour prior to the service at Clock Life Story Funeral Home.
