Larry "Mohawk" Dermont Ezell, age 70, passed away Monday, January 8, 2024. He was born in Muskegon, MI on March 8, 1953 to Joseph & Annie (Gordon) Ezell and graduated from Muskegon Heights High school and later attended Glen Oaks College. He then married the former Angelee Pace on May 12, 1973. Mr. Ezell had been employed as a Inspector for Howmet until retiring in for over 32 years. Larry was a member of Zion Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, and hunting. He was a big football fan, he coached little league, and working in the Muskegon High School ticket booth.

Wife, Angelee Ezell; son, Larry (Rachel) Ezell; daughter, Sharetta Ezell; grandchildren, Dominique Ezell, Eleondra Ezell, Darius Devereaux, Dacari Devereaux; god grandchild, Cory'Asia Washington; great grandchildren, Ivy Jade Deveraux, Derrickus Green, A'Laysia Malone; brothers, Ronald Ezell, Stanley (Roslyn) Ezell; sisters, Willie Ruth (Willie) Byrd, Benita Ezell, Kathy Botello; sisters-in-law, Bernice Ezell, Peggy Hamilton, Freddie Roberson, Carrie Autman, Mary Pace; brothers-in-law, Curtis (Sandra) Pace, Charlie Pace; special aunt, Dorothy Mae Winters; special uncles, John Gordon, Arthur Gordon. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Annie Ezell; brothers, Lloyd, Arzell, Lee Willis, Eugene, Danny Ray, Spenarley; sisters, Shirley, Rebecca; god great granddaughter, A'Dourr Malone.

SERVICE

Thursday, January 18, 2024, 12:00 PM at Zion Baptist Church of Muskegon with Rev Contrel Shumate Sr. officiating. Interment in Mona View Cemetery.
