Kurth, Frances L.

Mrs. Frances L. Kurth, age 93, died Wednesday, February 14, 2007. She was born in Muskegon, MI on March 12, 1913 to John & Anna (Sadler) Vanderplow. Mrs. Kurth had been employed as the head dietician at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. She was Valedictorian of her graduating class at Muskegon High School, and a graduate of Michigan State University. Frances was a collector of antique elephants, an avid Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed needlework. SURVIVORS Sister-in-law, Grace Vanderplow; 3 nieces, Carole (James) Bluhm, Mary Ann (Robert) Thornton, Debra (Randy) Knapp; nephew, Allen (Lynn) Vanderplow; several great nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Louis, John Jr. (Trixie). & Charles Vanderplow. GRAVESIDE SERVICE Saturday, February 17, 2007, 1:00 PM at Restlawn Chapel with Rev. Jayne Yonkman officiating. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery.
