Knoll-Hornak, Catherine Ann

Ms. Catherine Ann Hornak-Knoll, age 59, passed away at a hospice residence on December 27, 2006 in Sarasota, FL following a long illness. Catherine was born in Muskegon on February 2, 1947 to Paul and Ann (Kibby) Hornak. Following her graduation from Mona Shores High School in 1965, she became an airline stewardess for United Airlines. Returning to West Michigan in the late 60's, Catherine moved to Grand Haven and worked for Dr. Joseph Brock, M.D. in Muskegon as office manager. She moved to Sarasota, FL in 1989 and was employed as a security guard until retiring this past August because of health. SURVIVORS: Son, Paul Knoll of Sarasota, FL; Grandson, Christopher of Grand Haven; Sister, Susan Hornak of Kentwood, MI; many cousins and her life long friend, Marti VanWyck-Johnson of Norton Shores. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at St. Gregory's Episcopal Church, 1200 Seminole Rd, 11:30 A.M., Saturday, January 27, 2007, Fr. David Brower presiding.
