Our mother was truly one of a kind and I am humbled by the challenge of describing the fullness of her beauty, her giving and caring. I don't know how she did it, but Mom always found the perfect balance between work and home. She valued her family most of all and spent as much time as she could give to her kids, grand kids and great grand kids. Her greatest gift that she gave to us was her time and love. She worked 45yrs 2 jobs until she was 70 as a professional seamstress making very high class clothing and a food kitchen at the hospital. Our mom was a warrior she survived Cancer, Heart valve transplant, partial lung removal, partial bowel removal, diabetes that made her feet and ankles hurt so much she could hardly walk anymore and her partial blindness in one eye. She never complained about any of it and never asked for anything no words can tell you how this wonderful our mom truly was. She had a magical way of bringing joy every time she walked into the room. No one who met her could forget her smile, her wit, gentleness and kindness. And I'll never forget the advice and the lessons she taught me through her actions that showed me how a person of humility should treat others. Our mothers love will be instilled into our hearts and the hearts of all she ever crossed paths with and will never be forgotten. Until we see you again we love you, Mom Memorial and celebration of her life will be held later this Spring.
