Mr. Charles LeRoy "Chuck" Kissling, age 63, passed away at his home on Friday, October 13, 2006. He was born in Muskegon on September 5, 1943 to Herbert and Lucille (Hites) Kissling and was a life resident of the Muskegon area. Chuck was a veteran of the United States Army. He was employed for the Local 100 Union as a carpenter for 30 years before retiring in 2000. Chuck is survived by 2 children, Charles Edward (Tina) Kissling of Twin Lake and Dawn Marie (Robert) Smith of Holton; 3 step-children, Roger (Candi) Brooks, Jennifer Brooks, and Brian Brooks; 2 brothers, Earl (Joan) Kissling and Jack (Nikki) Clover; 1 sister, Barbara (Bill) Belaban; special friends, Mark and Bobbie (Kissling) Buys, Betty Brooks, and Ronny Riley; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother, Jim Kissling and 1 sister, Marge Stewart. SERVICES will be 1PM Tuesday at The Sytsema Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 with Mr. Jack Clover officiating. A PRIVATE FAMILY VISITATION will be held 3-5PM Sunday. PUBLIC VISITATION will be held 3-5PM & 7-9PM Monday. It was Charles' wishes that everyone please dress casual for his services. MEMORIALS in Chuck's name may be made to Harbor Hospice. INTERMENT will take place in Egelston Township Cemetery.
