Kissling, Melvin E.

Mr. Kissling, age 63, died November 27, 2006. Born December 20, 1942, in Muskegon, to Raymond and Winifred (Schofield) Kissling, he had lived in the White Lake area for many years. On September 7, 1961, in Whitehall, he married the former Joann Pulsipher, who preceded him in death in 2003. Mr. Kissling worked as a diesel mechanic for Midwest Trucking Co. He was preceded in death by a sister, Rosemarie. FAMILY: His fiancee, Marian; 4 children, Daniel (Allison) Kissling of Mears, William Kissling of Grand Rapids, Brenda (Ken Jr.) Hammell of Montague and Melvin Kissling Jr. of Muskegon; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Joe (Robin) Carpenter; 4 sisters, Linda (Jerry) Phillippo, Dixie Cooley, Ruth Ann Martin and Debby (Don) Cooley. SERVICE: Thursday, November 30, 2006, at 1:00 PM, from Clock Chapel-Whitehall with the Rev. Michael J. Banks officiating. Interment will be made in Hubbard Cemetery - White River Township. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday, 6-8 PM, at Clock Funeral Home in Whitehall.
