Kenneth Sturtevant

Kenneth James Sturtevant age 55, died Wednesday, August 8, 2007 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Kenneth J. Sturtevant was born on June 14, 1952 in Grant, Michigan to Frank H. and Bonnie J. (Kass) Sturtevant. Ken married Mary Lou (Creager) Sturtevant on December 4, 1971 in Conklin, Michigan. Ken worked for the City of Coopersville Department of Public Works and he and his wife are the caretakers of Patterson Park in Ravenna. Ken is survived by his wife, Mary L. Sturtevant of Ravenna; 2 sons, Matthew S. and Marissa Sturtevant of Lamont and Charles F. Sturtevant of Muskegon; 2 daughters, Heather M. and Michael Luke of Sand Lake and Crystal R. and Andy Mitzel of Ravenna; 1 granddaughter, Hailey Sturtevant; Ken's mother, Bonnie J. Sturtevant of Coopersville; 3 brothers, Dennis and Deb Sturtevant of West Olive, Michael and Diana Sturtevant of Chicago, and Brian Sturtevant of Hollywood, CA; and 1 sister, Michelle and Gary Irwin of Ravenna. Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive. Ken was preceded in death by his father, Frank and 1 grandson, Aiden Luke. Memorial services for Kenneth James Sturtevant will be conducted on Sunday, August 12, 2007 at 4:00pm at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna with Pastors Ken Bush and Tony DeLarosa officiating. Cremation has taken place. The family will be at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna on Sunday, August 12, 2007 from 2:00pm until the time of service. Memorials may be directed to the family.
