Kenneth L. Schalk

SCHALK, MR. KENNETH L. Muskegon Mr. Kenneth L. Schalk, age 71, died Wednesday, June 29, 2005. He was born in Muskegon, MI on October 27, 1933 to Peter & Edith Schalk & married the former Betty Strate on June 6, 1953. Mr. Schalk had been employed as a Industrial Engineer at American Seating in Grand Rapids until retiring in 1992. Kenneth was a boxer, shot putter & all state tackle on the illustrious 1951 Muskegon High football team which was inducted into the hall of Fame. A devoted husband father and a consecrated man of great faith in God. He was a portrait of the trials of Job. SURVIVORS Wife, Betty; 2 sons, Kenneth Schalk of Muskegon & Kevin Schalk of Muskegon; 1 daughter, Tracy Schalk of Ann Arbor, MI; 1 sister, Carole Lyle Porter of Muskegon. He was preceded in death by his parents & a brother, Donald Schalk. SERVICE Saturday, July 2, 2005, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel with Elder David Seebald officiating. Interment at Lakeside Cemetery.
