Kenneth Robert Raymond, age 91, passed away Friday, May 5, 2023 in Long Beach, CA. He was born in Muskegon, MI on October 11, 1931 to Henry & Ida (Borgeson) Raymond and served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and then later in the National Guard. He married the former Joan Plough on October 7, 1972 and she preceded him in death in 1989. Mr. Raymond had been employed by the City of Muskegon as a caretaker for McGraft Park. He was a former member of First Congregational Church, Muskegon Eagles, VFW Post 8846 and the Muskegon Recreation Club. After Joan's death he moved to California to live with family. While there he volunteered at the VA Clinics.

MEMORIAL SERVICE

Saturday, August 5, 2023, 2:00 PM at Clock Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Shady officiating. VISITATION one hour prior to the service. Interment in Mona View Cemetery immediately following the memorial service where Military Honors will be rendered by the Muskegon County Council of Veterans.
