Kenneth Palmer (known affectionately as Pete by his siblings), age 65, beloved husband and father, passed away unexpectedly on March 6, 2017. He was preceded in death by his brothers, John Palmer and Robert Palmer, as well as his parents, Minnie and Eber Palmer and his nephew Timothy Morris. He is survived by his wife, Pamela and his four children, Chandra, Rachael, Daniel and Brian. Also surviving are his sister Karen Retieg (Ron) and his brother, Ernest (Marlene) Palmer and many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends. Born in Bear Lake, Michigan in 1952 he became a lifelong resident of Muskegon and graduated from Muskegon High School in 1970. He was employed by Stiendler Paper Company till they closed and continued his employment with American Coil Springs and Michigan Spring till his retirement this year. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his garden especially his fruit trees, blackberry bushes, and his mini Concord grape vineyard covering his patio. He was a skilled craftsman, making bookcases, intricately carved, for his wife and children. He faced his myriad of medical trials with admirable and amazing dignity.
