Kenneth Millard

Mr. Kenneth Melvin Millard, age 84, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015. He was born in White Cloud, Michigan on March 29, 1931 to Asa and Hazel (Thompson) Millard and married the former Laura Jean Sinkback and Bonnie Vanduyvenvoorde. Mr. Millard was a proud veteran of the Korean War and had been employed as a car mechanic and heavy equipment mechanic for various area companies throughout his career. Kenneth was a member of Don Rea VFW, was an avid fisherman and had a passion for gardening. SURVIVORS Sons, Kenneth (Robin) Millard, Matthew (Darlene) Millard, Lawrence Sonny Helferich; daughters, Victoria (Greg) Ferguson, Joyce (John) Jenson, Virginia Vanduyvenvoorde, Laurie (John) Rix, Debbie Betts, Jackilynn Millard; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; brother, Keith Bud" (Pat) Millard; sisters, Mary Meil, Celaine Gardner and special friend Bev McDonnell. He was preceded in death by his wife Laura Jean in 1975, wife Bonnie in 2002, and sister Marva Gerencer. SERVICE Thursday, September 10, 2015, 1:30 pm with family visitation one hour prior at Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Pastor Bill Uetricht officiating. Interment in Oakwood Cemetery.
