Kenneth J. Arkema

ARKEMA, MR. KENNETH J. Grand Haven, MI Mr. Kenneth J. Arkema Sr., 88, died Thursday September 11, 2003 at Select Specialty Hospital in Muskegon, MI. He was born September 4, 1915 to Garret & Etta Byl Arkema in Grand Haven & married Ruth Bomers April 9, 1941 in Holland, MI. Mr. Arkema had been employed at Gardner Denver Cooper Industries as an Internal Sales Assistant. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII, having received the Bronze Star. He was a member of Second Christian Reformed Church. Survivors: Wife, Ruth; son, Kenneth Sharon Arkema, Jr. of Grand Haven, MI; daughter, Karen Vern Peters of Kendallville, IN; 8 grandchildren & 7 great- grandchildren. All of his brothers & his sister preceded him in death. Service: Monday, September 15, 2003, 2:00 PM at the Clock Funeral Home with Rev. Edward Tamminga officiating. Interment at Lake Forest Cemetery. Visitation: One hour prior to the service. Memorial: Second Christian Reformed Church. Clock-Grand Haven
