Kenneth Andrews Jr.

Mr. Kenneth Lee Andrews, Jr., age 57, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2007. Mr. Andrews was born on July 28, 1949 to Kenneth and Colleen (Bolduc) Andrews in Muskegon. He was a 1967 graduate of Mona Shores High School, spent 2 years at Key West Community College and had served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. Ken lived in Florida most of his adult life, earning his Captain's license and sailing boats throughout the world during his career. On January 21, 1980, he married the former Carol Watterson in Attleboro, MA. She preceded him in death on December 6, 1988. After returning to Muskegon 8 years ago, Ken was a beloved bartender at the Muskegon Recreation Club. His passions were sailing and his children who survive him, Travis Andrews of Orlando, FL and Coral Andrews of Sarasota, FL; his mother, Colleen Andrews; 3 brothers, Mark Andrews of Ormond Beach, FL, Brian (JoLynn) Andrews and Matthew Andrews both of Muskegon; 2 sisters, Bonnie (John) Frein and Maureen (Mike) Scharlow, both of Muskegon; many nieces and nephews. Ken was also preceded in death by his father. A MEMORIAL VISITATION will be held Saturday, June 23, 2007 12:00 Noon - 3:00 PM at the Muskegon Rec Club, 1763 Lakeshore Dr.
