Kay Duram, age 80, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, May 2, 2024. She was born in Muskegon, MI on July 28, 1943 to Kenneth & Helen (Ridenour) Krannitz. She married Tarry John Duram on November 9, 1963. Tarry preceded her in death in February 2015. Kay graduated from West Michigan Christian High School and attended Muskegon Junior College where she earned her Associates degree. She worked in the business office at Hackley Hospital for 20 years before going to work for SAF Holland in aftermarket sales. Kay retired after 30 years with SAF Holland. Kay was a former member of First Presbyterian Church in Muskegon. Kay loved sports. She played golf and waterskied in her younger years and was on the same bowling league for 30 years. Kay was a very social person with many, many friends. You could always find her at a party, happy hour or girls weekend up North. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Daughters, Debra (Randy) Lamse, Kendra Brokstad; grandchildren, Valarie (David) Smith, Morgan (Chaz) Rollins, Baylee (Daniel) Dennis; great-grandchildren, Jessie, Wyatt, Lilabeth, Elyana, Chaz Jr., Freya, Cash, Karsen, Finley, Dylann, Sophie, Sylvia; son-in-law, Charlie Brokstad; sister-in-law, Marva Raymond; life long special friend Lynn Torrent; her beloved doggies, Maxine and Stella. She was preceded in death by her Husband Tarry and her brother, Kenneth Krannitz.
SERVICE
Saturday , June 1, 2024 at Shiloh Tabernacle Church (460 E Tyler Rd) at 11:00 am with James Kolbe officiating. Contributions in Kay's memory can be made to Shiloh Tabernacle church.
