Kay Chappel

Mrs. Kay Frances Chappel, age 65, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017. She was born in Niles, Michigan on December 31, 1951 to Alphonzo & Julia (Lee) Jordan. Ms. Chappel had been employed for the Muskegon County Sheriff Department as a Floor Guard and in Dispatch. She was a member and also an usher at House of Judah, taught marine & snowmobile safety, a member of LEIN (Law Enforcement Information) and also a network operations officer. SURVIVORS Daughter, Taunita Chappel of Atlanta GA; son, Tapries Chappel of Muskegon; grandchildren, A'tavia (Michael) Thomas, A'tahja Chappel & A'naiah Chappel; special grandchild, Ma'kari Blackwell; sister, Judy Wayne of Muskegon, Rodrick Jordan of Peoria IL; several nieces & nephew; special friend, Stephen Blackwell. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Alphonzo Jr., William "Billy", Lamar "Butch"; sister, Terri. SERVICE Wednesday, November 29, 2017, 11:00 am at Church of Living God with officiating. Interment in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION Tuesday, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon and Wednesday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
