Kay Frances Burley, 79, of Muskegon, passed away Monday, April 7, 2025.

Kay was born September 2, 1945, the daughter of Michael and Lucille Matuszek. Kay was blessed with 2 sons in her life. She was a member of Life Change Church and her local ladies birthday club. Kay enjoyed going to her brother-in-law Bill's farm, going out to eat, puzzles and most of all being with her family. She was a loving, silly, fun-loving, and at times comically scatter-brained woman who will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.

Husband, Bill Ryder; children, Gardner (Julie) McKay and Roy (Jill) McKay; grandchildren, Cody (Chelsie), Gardner Jr. (Alyssa), Tarryn (Andrew), Brittany (Chris), Allan, Alexzandra, Damon, Marina, Heidi, and Chelsea; great-grandchildren, Gardner III, Wynter, Deegen, Connor, Emma, Elyse, Macie, Kaydin, Karmen, Warren, Miley, Lilith, Jackson, Abby, Jazon, and Allie; brother, Larry (Rose); sister, Sue Burley. She was preceded in death by: her former husband, Richard Burley; infant daughter, Kimberly; and her parents.

SERVICES

Monday, April 21, 2025 11:00 AM at Life Change Church 3084 Whitehall Road Muskegon MI 49445. Visitation will take place 1 hour prior to the start of the service. Interment will be at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
