COOK, MRS. KATHRYN Grand Haven Mrs. Kathryn Cook, age 89, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2004 at a local medical care facility, after a lengthy illness. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 22, 1914 to George & Julia Sabo Pravda and married Thomas Cook in 1935 at Grand Haven. She was a member of Hope Reformed Church and the Church Guild. She was also a member of the Michigan State University Home Extension and was for many years a Girl Scout Leader. SURVIVORS Brother, George Pauline Pravda of Spring Lake; several nieces and nephews; her special friend, Mary Yedinak. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Thomas Cook and by a brother, Steve Pravda. SERVICE A Private Graveside Service will be held at Lake Forest Cemetery with Rev. Arnold VanBeek officiating. Interment at Lake Forest Cemetery. Memorial: Hope Reformed Church.
