Kathleen "Kathy" Edna Sapp, 75, of Muskegon, MI passed away on July 26, 2020 after a short illness in the presence of loved ones. She was born April 26, 1945 in Detroit, MI to Walter and Margaret Nash. In 1965 she married the love of her life William "Bill" Sapp, and they would have celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary this fall. She passed at 11:13 a.m. which is significant to the family because Bill and Kathy's anniversary is November 13th. Kathy is survived by her husband Bill and daughters Deborah Stokes (Daniel) of San Diego, CA, Sherri Walker of Traverse City, MI, grandchildren Gabriel Sapp and Sarah Stokes, plus many nieces and nephews, all of whom she adored. She is also survived by sisters Patricia Williams (Vince) and Mary Mosti (Jim), and preceded in death by her sister Lois McPherson and her brother Walter Nash. Kathy was a trained seamstress and worked doing that both professionally and at home throughout her life. She loved cooking and baking and enjoyed showing her love by making delicious food for friends and loved ones. She had a very strong faith, and her love of God showed in her everyday life. In fact, one of her most favorite sayings was "Faith, Family, and Friends". She was blessed with many cousins and lifelong friends who were all very dear to her. A celebration of Kathy's life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harbor Hospice Foundation 1050 W. Western Avenue, Suite 400 Muskegon, MI 49441 or to the family. May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
