Katherine Ann Winston, age 74, passed away Monday, November 11, 2024. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on April 5, 1950 to Burl & Sally (Evans) Burton, attended schools in Whitehall and graduated from Muskegon Heights High School. Katherine was employed at Meijer as a Baker for over 30 years until retiring. She was a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed writing poetry.

Sons, Eric (Stacy) Winston, Michael Winston; grandchildren Alexys Winston, Alyza Winston, Aaliyah Winston; great-grandchildren, Cameron Thompson, Stephon Jackson Jr., Stormi Bishop; brother, Melvin (Theresa) Burton; Sister Maria (Vernonell) Smith; Brother-in-law, Samuel Smith; special friends, Bonita Parker, Sandra Gause; special sister in law Pearl Burton and a host of nieces and nephews.; She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Maxine Smith and brother, Johnny Burton.
