Katherine L. Tanner

Mrs. Katherine Laurel Tanner, age 88, passed away Monday, June 26, 2017. She was born in Jackson, Michigan on March 10, 1929 to Loris & LaVerne (Powers) Mendham. Ms. Tanner had been employed as a nurse's aide for Newaygo County Medical Facility for 21 years until retiring. Katherine lived in Zephyrhills for several years until coming back to Whitehall to be close to family. She enjoyed sewing and had fun entertaining which would include pantomime to various songs and dancing. She will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Daughters, Susan Cribley of Whitehall, Vicki Arbogast of Hesperia, Diane (Richard Manie) Tanner of Holton, Annette (Randall) Cribley of Whitehall; son, Richard (Doris) Tanner of Whitehall; 15 grandchildren; many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sons, James & Michael; son-in-law, Kenneth Cribley; special cousin, Beverly Pletcher. CELEBRATION OF LIFE Saturday, July 1, 2017, 2:00 - 4:00 pm at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon with a reception following. Interment in Ferry Township Cemetery.
