She was born in Muskegon, MI on August 11, 1966 to James & Helen (Johnson) Dodson ans was the youngest child. She graduted from Muskegon Catholic Central High School in 1984. Karla had been employed as a machine operator for Howmet and Red Cross for many years. She had a big heart to serve others in their time of need. Karla also enjoyed crafting, fishing, gardening, fish frys, flowers, was considered the life of the party but most importantly, she loved her family & grandchildren. SURVIVORS Karla leave to cherish, sons Glen (Tia) Wyrick of Muskegon, MI; her brother Franklin Val Wilkerson of Muskegon, MI; 1 sister Donna Blackmon; 6 niece Teaola Wilkerson Detroit, MI, Shonteka and Marguerite McKinnon, Regina, Danitta, and Nydra Blackmon all of Muskegon, MI; 4 nephews Brent, Byron Wilkerson and D'Angelo McKinnon of Muskegon, MI; and Brian Wilkerson of Albion, MI; 11 grand children; 1 great grand daughter Malani Dixon; 15 great nieces and nephews.
