Karl Selin

Mr. Karl E. Selin, age 76, died Sunday, May 20, 2007. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI on December 23, 1929 to Edward & Signa (Peterson) Selin and married the former Lorraine Johnson on October 6, 1951. Karl served his Country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Selin had been self- employed as an accountant, operating Selin Accounting for 30 years until retiring in 1993. He was an active member of Forest Park Covenant Church where he was a lifelong choir member and involved in many quartets. He was a member of Kiwanis and past President of Mona Shores Band Parents. He enjoyed traveling & golf, but foremost was his family. SURVIVORS Wife of 55 years, Lorraine; son, Dr. Steven (Cathy) Selin of Grand Rapids; 2 daughters, Cynthia (Allen) Arneson of Ludington, Barbara (Robin) Duggan of New Jersey; 6 grandchildren, Jonathan, Connie, Tricia, Lisa, Tanya & Kelsey; sister, Patricia (Bert) Rose of Sparta, MI; mother-in-law, Olga Johnson of Muskegon; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Robert. SERVICE Thursday, May 24, 2007, 11:00 AM at Forest Park Covenant Church with Rev. Russell Carlson officiating.
