Karen Scott, age 57, of Muskegon, passed away unexpectedly on July 18, 2026, while in Joplin, Missouri.

Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on January 28, 1969, to her adoptive parents, the late William and Jean (Shipley) Chesley, Karen grew into a woman of many talents and deep affection for her family. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.

Karen will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Albert; their son, Jonathan (Jessica) Scott; and step-sons Bamm Scott, Sean Scott, Terance Scott, Derek Scott, Tony Scott; step-daughters, Celeste Scott, Star Robinson, Sparkle Robinson. She is also survived by her adoptive brothers, Mark Chesley, Steve Chesley, and Michael Chesley; and her many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter she helped raise, Kelly Kuieck.
