Karen Ruth Delong

DE LONG, MRS. KAREN R. Mrs. Karen R. DeLong, age 44, of Spring Lake, MI, died Sunday, April 25, 2004. She was born in Kelowna, British Columbia on December 14, 1959 to Henry & Pearl Quering Herzog and married Gordon DeLong on August 13, 1989, in Berrien Springs, MI. Mrs. DeLong had been employed as a Registered Nurse at North Ottawa Community Hospital In-Home Care Department. She was a member of Grand Haven Seventh Day Adventist Church. Her interests included gardening and crafting. She truly shared her gift of hospitality with all and ministered to many persons through her nursing career. SURVIVORS: Husband, Gordon; Daughter, Lindsay DeLong of Berrien Springs, MI; parents, Henry and Pearl Herzog of Berrien Springs, MI; 2 sisters, Barbara Herzog of Vermont and Darlene Grooms of Buchanan, MI. SERVICE: 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 28, 2004 at Spring Lake Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial: 'It Is Written Ministry' or Hospice of North Ottawa Community.
