MCCLURE, MRS. KAREN ANN Vilalge of Fruitport Mrs. Karen Ann McClure, age 57, died Tuesday, August 14, 2001 at her home. She was born in Grand Haven, MI on July 3, 1944 to Alfred & Julia Drake Hentschel & married Jerry McClure in Grand Haven, MI on September 20, 1968. Mrs. McClure was a graduate of Coopersville High School. She had been employed as a draftsman at GTE, a clerk for the Michigan Secretary of State office & as a seamstress for Karen's Klutter. She was a member of United Lutheran Church & enjoyed traveling, shopping, sewing, arts & crafts & was a collector of all types of blown glass. SURVIVORS Husband, Jerry; Mother, Julia Hentschel of Fruitport; 2 sons, Dean Tracy McClure & Mark Trisha McClure, both of Fruitport; 1 daughter, Amy Eugene Prell of Norton Shores; 5 grand-children: Keith, Dustin, Eli, Julia & Alex as well as her mother-in-law, Juanita McClure of Muskegon. She was preceded in death by her father, Alfred Hentschel on February 23, 1986. SERVICE Friday, August 17, 2001, 10:30 AM at the Clock Chapel-Fruitport with Rev. William Lahrman officiating.
