June Zillman

June P. Zillman, passed away Friday, April 11, 2014 at the age of 84. She was born on June 4, 1929 to David & Rose (Polack) Zillman in Cambridge MA. Her diverse careers led her to the CIA in Washington DC, IRS auditor in Boston and her work in the Psych Ward at Mass General Hospital. She moved to Muskegon MI in 1974 and worked in the Cardio Pulmonary Department at Hackley and Mercy Hospitals. She volunteered at Every Woman's Place and went to Cancer Support Group with Ann for many years. June was dynamite in a small package! She was very creative in her oil paintings, poetry, had a colorful sense of humor, enjoyed Black Jack at the casinos, was an avid reader and had a love of animals. We will always remember the friendship, conversation, and laughter she brought into our lives. Ann wishes to give a special thank you to Sanctuary at the Oaks and Harbor Hospice for their loving care. SURVIVORS She is survived by Ann Kelly, her close friend of 38 years; her aunt, Ruth Piken and cousin, Ernie Fisher of MA. Also included are her close friends, John and Carol Farmer, The Kelly family, Lynne Vandebunte and many special friends and relatives. SERVICE A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
