June E. Marrison

Mrs. June Elizabeth Marrison, age 90, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017. She was born in Mason County, Michigan on June 9, 1926 to James & Selina (Hepworth) Fishel and married Leland Marrison on June 22, 1947. Mrs. Marrison had been employed for Mitchell Corp. and Watch Case Co. for years until retiring in 1984. June attended Bethel Baptist Church of Norton Shores and enjoyed cooking, quilting, sewing, traveling, crossword puzzles and reading Louis L'amour books. SURVIVORS Husband of nearly 70 years, Leland; son, Randy Marrison of Ludington; daughters, Patricia Marrison of Muskegon & Janice (David) Zimmerman of Muskegon; grandchildren, Steven Huff, Teresa Payne, Christopher Huff, David Zimmerman, Lynn Zimmerman & Andrew Zimmerman; 9 great grandchildren; great great grandchild, Carson; brothers, Joseph and Emanuel Fishel; many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael in 2004 & 8 siblings. SERVICE Tuesday, May 23, 2017, 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior to the service at Bethel Baptist Church of Norton Shores with Rev. Douglas VanderMolen officiating. Interment in Center Riverton Cemetery.
