June Bagby

Mrs. June T. Bagby, age 89, died Tuesday, February 24, 2009. She was born in Axtell, Kansas on June 7, 1919 to Del & Thelma Benson and married Robert F. Bagby on December 26, 1941. Mrs. Bagby had been employed as a Teacher at Reeths Puffer Schools for 30 years and was the principal at the Pennsylvania Road School. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Greater Muskegon Womens Club, and Muskegon Area Retired Teachers. SURVIVORS Sons, Robert (Sandra) Bagby of Grandville, James (Judith) Bagby of GA; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Irene Williams of Washington DC, Violet Schafer of KS; sister-in-law, Luella Benson of Fremont. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 2000 & brother, Del Benson. SERVICE Saturday, February 28, 2009, 11:00 AM at Clock Chapel with Rev. Fred Halde officiating. Interment at Laketon Township Cemetery. VISITATION Friday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: First Presbyterian Church-Muskegon or Alzheimer's Association.
