Judith Lynn Bisson

Judith "Judy" Lynn Bisson, age 79, passed away on September 5, 2026, in her beloved hometown of Muskegon, MI. Born on July 9, 1947, Judy was a cherished daughter of Edward and Ruth (McEntee) Bisson. After graduating from Muskegon High School in 1965, she pursued her passion for education at Western Michigan University, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Teaching. For many years, she dedicated her life to nurturing creativity in her students as an Elementary School Art Teacher within Muskegon Public Schools until her retirement.

Judy's contributions extended far beyond the classroom; she was an active member of the Vikings Linne Lodge #57 and an avid reader who found joy in the world of crafts. Her creative spirit shone brightly through her longstanding volunteer work with Muskegon Civic Theatre. Over the years, Judy worked behind the scenes for numerous productions, meticulously designing and constructing props that brought stories to life on stage.

Judy leaves behind her beloved cousin, Barbara Root, and is remembered fondly by all whose lives she touched. She was preceded in death by her parents.
