Juanita Rios Roberts

Juanita (Rios) Roberts passed away April 25, 2023, surrounded by her family.

Juanita was married to James Roberts of Twin Lake, Mi. Juanita is survived by her

sister Ophelia and brother Joe Rios, and 7 children, Jerry Trevino, Michael Trevino,

Will Trevino, Sarah (Missy) Herbert, Edward Acosta and Rebecca Dominguez,

Amanda and Travis Weger, Paloma Acosta, as well as many grandchildren,

nieces, nephews, and friends who she loved very much. Juanita is proceeded in

death by her son Julian Jacob Acosta (JJ), and husband Julian Acosta, brothers Luis

Rios, Daniel Rios, sisters Manuela Galindo, Olivia Escovedo.

Juanita was born and raised in Big Spring, TX and graduated from Big Spring High

School.

Juanita was a mother, she took extreme pride in her children, she was immensely

proud of her family, and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. One of

Juanita's last moments, she said "I am so proud of my babies."

Juanita also loved to draw and paint nature, and crochet and knit. She spent

many hours gardening and taking care of her flowers.

Juanita wanted to say a special Thank you for all the prayers while she was sick.

Also, a very special thank you to The Salvation Army of Abilene Tx, Officers Rachel

and Josh Mckain, for their continuous prayers and love while she was in the

hospital.

A memorial will be set for a later date.
