Juanita A. Eastling, age 94, of Muskegon and formerly of Grand Haven and Grant, passed away Monday, April 30, 2007, at a Muskegon hospital. She was born August 8, 1912, in Fremont, MI, to Henry and Lenora (Tannant) Taylor, and she married Loren Eastling, Sr. on March 2, 1929, in Grand Haven. He preceded her in death on May 24, 1991. Mrs. Eastling was formerly employed by Seavers Manufacturing in Grand Haven and was currently a member of Fremont Church of the Nazarene. She was also a former member of Eastwood Church of the Nazarene as well as a member of Grand Haven Church of the Nazarene for over 40 years. She enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, camping, and traveling. Survivors include three daughters: Lenora (Marine) Goodin of Arizona, Janice Hansen (fiance' Dave Wolf) of Muskegon, and Martha King of Twin Lake; two sons: Asa (Dee) Eastling of Zephyrhills, FL, and Bearle (Marilyn) Eastling of Walhalla; a daughter-in-law, Louise Eastling of Baldwin; and 19 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Eastling was preceded in death by two sons: Loren Eastling, Jr. and Theodore Eastling; a daughter-in-law, Mary Eastling; a son-in-law, Walt King; three sisters: Ora Kies, Bernie Wright, and Agnes Dykman; and three brothers: Eugene, Charles, and Asa Taylor. The service for Mrs. Eastling will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2007, at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven with Rev. Daniel Vickey officiating. Friends may meet the family 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 3, at the funeral home in Grand Haven and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Interment will be in Lakeshore Cemetery. Memorials to Fremont Church of the Nazarene are appreciated.
