Mrs. Joyce May (Hinshaw) Dobyns Weirich, age 75, passed away March 19, 2007 at her home. She was born November 17, 1931 in Muskegon to the late Barney and the late May (Goudberg) Riddle. Joyce owned Red's Quality Cleaners in Grand Haven with her late husband, Richard "Red" Weirich. She was a Charter Member of Fruitport Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #3666 and the American Legion Grand Haven Post #28. Besides her parents and her husband, Red, Joyce was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Hinshaw, and her special friend, Irene Blais. Surviving are her daughters: Susan (Rodney) Harms, Margaret (Russ) Raap, Kathy Vokal (Kevin Krupp), and Sally (Rick) Evans; grandchildren: Heather (Mike) Lettig, Sara (William) McCook, Nicole, Jennifer, and Jonathon Reek, and Danielle Vokal; 3 great grandchildren; brother, David (Sherry) Riddle; sister, Marilou Berth; sister-in-law, Gail Dobyns; aunt, Helene Phillips; her first husband, Merrel Dobyns; special friends, Marguerite Poland and Sherry Griffin; and her best friend and companion who has given Joyce much comfort and misses her very much, Lucy. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held Saturday, March 24th at 11:00 a.m. at Ever Rest Funeral Home & Chapel, 1783 E. Keating Ave., with Pastor Ben Jansen officiating. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to Harbor Hospice.
