VANBERGEN, MRS. JOYCE Fremont Mrs. Joyce VanBergen, age 82, died Sunday, August 7, 2005. She was born in Muskegon, MI on November 6, 1922 to Isaac & Estelle Mausolf Vanderlaan & married Elver Norcutt who passed away in 1947. She married Lewis VanBergen on September 30, 1949 in Muskegon who passed away in 1993. Mrs. VanBergen had been employed as a Secretary at Sealed Power & retired from Clarke Floor. She was a member of Ladies Auxiliary , Holton American Legion & Moose Lodge, Fremont, MI. Mrs. VanBergen enjoyed bingo & playing cards. SURVIVORS 1 daughter, Sharlyn Richard L. Whalen of Muskegon; 3 grandchildren, Lisa John Gibbs, Jeff Diana Whalen & Lori Donald Lamb; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild & by a brother, Dale Vanderlaan of Muskegon. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters & 2 brothers. MEMORIAL SERVICE Monday, August 15, 2005, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel with Rev. Sarah Samuelson officiating. VISITATION Guests may meet with the family immediately following the service at the Holton American Legion, 9150 Holton Rd.. There will be no visitation prior to the service.
