She was born in Kalkaska, MI on December 19, 1930 to Earl & Georgia Ellis Nichols & married Vaughn Emil Taylor on January 1, 1955 in Grand Haven, MI. Joyce was a homemaker & had enjoyed playing music & bingo. She also enjoyed her grandchildren. Survivors: 2 sons, Frank Taylor & Jim Leslie Taylor, both of Grand Haven, MI; 2 daughters, Sue Allen VanderZwaag & Penny Califf, both of Grand Haven, MI; grandchildren: Mandy Bruce Samdal, Tara John Griswold, Allen VanderZwaag, Jr., Jennifer Taylor, Anthony Taylor, Adam Califf, Robert Califf & Stacey Taylor; great-grand- children: Katrina Griswold, Xavier Taylor, Shyann Vincent & Bryce Samdal. She was preceded in death by her husband Vaughn on June 30, 2001. Service: Tuesday, November 18, 2003, 1:00 PM at Clock Funeral Home with Mr. Wayne Jarvis officiating.
