Joyce Alene Rhodea

Joyce Rhodea 10-14-46 to 2/3/22 Joyce Rhodea passed away peacefully at home after a valiant battle with cancer. She passed away surrounded by family. Joyce had full confidence of her salvation and it was obvious in her daily walk with the Lord, her powerful prayers, her passion for people and her humble generosity to anyone she could help. Above all else, Joyce's wishes in her passing was that God's Name would be proclaimed. One of Joyce's favorite Bible studies was the Names of God, which she studied over and over. Joyce challenges all of us to reflect on our walk with the Lord, spend more time in His Word, and show people God's love by caring for them. The verses below meant a lot to Joyce and were a comfort in this time. 1 Corinthians 1:7-9 7 Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. 8 He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Jude 24-25 24 To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy-- 25 to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 23 May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it. Joyce will be remembered by her dear friends, loving family, and 9 awesome grandkids. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
